Two things really. Firstly the fact that property is an ever growing asset – unlike other investment forms, property will never go down to zero value. Never! Instead, it will continue to double in value on average every 7 to 10 years, so really what we are seeing now is nothing to what we’ll see in 10 years.
Then of course, there is properties ability to earn positive cash flows year after year.
Yes it can not be denied that with the recent recession, the level of finance has become a lot more restricting in the last 4 years.
