UK’s Most Expensive Beach Hut Holiday
Waking up to glorious sunshine surrounded by sandy shores and a lapping ocean may be a dream we all secretly harbour, however what would you be willing to pay to invest in such a property location?
Well according to property agents Denisons, people are willing to pay quite a lot.
Just in the last month they sold a 5.6m by 3.2m timber beach hut near Bournemouth for an impressive £170,000.
Being dubbed the most expensive beach hut in the UK, this property investment was rebuilt 10 years to include a fully fitted kitchen, sleeping accommodation, running water, solar panels and double glazing.
Yet with no toilet the new owners will have to travel to a nearby residents block in order to go to the loo.
So what has made this property so popular?
Costing £10,000 more than the average property price, to an outsider this would seem an extreme investment. However with beautiful views overlooking the sea and the harbour, this hut is perfectly situated for holiday makers making it a prime location for investors.
